Behind the hat
Dirty Hat Co. started with two things Caroline has always been around: agriculture and hats.
Caroline grew up on a fifth-generation corn and soybean operation, where agriculture was part of everyday life. Being around the farm gave her a front-row seat to the work, problem-solving, and persistence that goes into running an operation.
Today, she continues to stay connected to the industry through her work helping agricultural producers address one of their biggest challenges—labor. Through that work, she’s had the opportunity to meet operators across agriculture and see the many different ways people build and run their businesses.
Caroline has also always been a hat person. From retro truckers to worn-in ball caps, hats have a way of reflecting the places they’ve been and the work that’s been done in them.
Dirty Hat Co. was created to highlight the people behind those hats. The company features producers and agricultural businesses through spotlights that share their operations and stories. Each spotlight is paired with a limited hat drop designed with the producer to celebrate their operation.
The goal is simple: highlight the people behind the work and give others a closer look at the businesses that keep agriculture moving.
